New supportive housing for Indigenous 2SLGBTQI+ community in Edmonton.

We are pleased to announce the launch of our Supportive Housing Project dedicated to our two-spirit community.

With the generous support of the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) and Indigenous Services Canada (ISC), we are proud to bring this vision to life. This project will provide safe, supportive housing for 24 two-spirit individuals escaping gender-based violence (GBV), fostering a sense of belonging through cultural and traditional connections.

As one of the first initiatives of its kind in Canada, we are honored to lead this important work and are confident it will inspire many more.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our funders, CMHC and ISC, as well as to the government officials, MLAs, MPs, the E2S Board, Council, Staff, and community members who joined us at the groundbreaking event. This achievement is for all of you, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
